James Eshleman

A number of years ago, I began to ask the question ‘who am I’ and it became my obsession. I started to answer the question by sitting in daily meditations, shortly after I incorporated plant medicine ceremonies and various other spiritual ceremonies.

I've engaged in rites of passage, initiations, and retreats. Everything about where I am now, offering myself in the service of others, began as a way for me to become the fullest version of myself. Along the way I discovered a thread that I couldn’t resist following: giving my gift of presence, love, and spaciousness to aid others in the deepening of their human experience.

Over the last 6 years I’ve accumulated experience in hundreds of sacred plant medicine ceremonies. When I bring myself to facilitation, I bring with me the experience and impact of assisting in the transformation of 1,000+ lives, including my own.

Q: What's your favorite book?

A: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza

Q: What are your favorite self-care practices?

A: Going for long walks, alone time, ceremonial tea, working out, soaking in hot springs, riding my motorcycle, meditation, solo adventures.

Q: What's your favorite place to travel and why? I have a deep love for the water and mountains. If you put them together, I am in heaven.

The Northwoods of Wisconsin. It's where I came of age and cultivated my depth of connection to the mystery of life. Up there, time slows down, the air awakens the heart, the water purifies the soul, and the laughter comes from the belly. Resourcefulness is the currency and nature is the teacher.
