DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1
Welcome to the Lodge!
Upon arrival at the lodge we’ll settle in, have a short mindfulness practice, before getting to know our fellow guests. We’ll gather in the lodge and enjoy happy hour before a delicious chef prepared dinner.
DAY 2
Yoga, Hike and Play
The lodge is conveniently located just off Highway 550 at the base of Red Mountain #3. The Red Mountain Group (Red Mountains #1, #2, and #3) are some of the most recognizable peaks in the area due to their lofty elevation and unmistakable red/orange coloration.
A great number of stunning peaks and basins surround you in every direction, all of which offer excellent hiking opportunities! Inspiring peaks like Trico, Telluride, and a host of other high alpine terrain – both above and below treeline are all right there for you to access from the front door of the lodge. High alpine above treeline bowls, craggy ridges, unbelievable summit views – there is literally no better access to the Red Mountain Pass backcountry than that found at the lodge.
Early risers can enjoy a sunrise yoga session before a delicious hot breakfast. We will head out on a full-day guided hike in the San Juan Mountains. Enjoy a bagged lunch and a mid-hike meditation before heading back to the lodge. Enjoy some downtime before happy hour and dinner!
Day 3
Hike, Play, Yoga and More
Early risers enjoy a delicious sunrise yoga session followed by hot breakfast. Mid-morning we’ll jump into a yoga session. We have the rest of the day to explore the vast and beautiful San Juan Mountain Range. A mindful lunch is served in the lodge prior to a short group hike and happy hour.
Opt to hike right from the lodge or hop in your car to explore the nearby attractions:
A plethora of hiking trails, including:
Mellow hikes: Box Canyon Falls or the Lower Cascade Falls trail
Or for the more ambitious: Blue Lakes Trail or Mt. Sneffels (14,150’)
Fly fishing alpine lakes and streams
Day 4
Farewell
Sunrise yoga, followed by our final breakfast. We then make the trek back home.
