Escape to the enchanting backcountry of the Grand Canyon National Park to discover and challenge your limits. Together we will embark on a 24-mile hiking loop over 3 days/2 nights. The unparalleled views are only challenged by the beautiful relationships and bonds formed on the trail. Join us for a supportive backpacking adventure with 11 curious, open, and challenge-seeking women. This trip is for anyone interested in pushing their limits and helping others reach new goals.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1

Enjoy a pre-trip group dinner and car camping to review the plan for the following days’ adventure.

Welcome to the Grand Canyon

You’ll arrive in Phoenix by the early afternoon. After meeting your group and guide, you will make the 4-hour transfer to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a welcome
dinner around the campfire and sleep under the stars in preparation for the big hike ahead!


DAY 2

Beauty abounds.

Grand Canyon Village to Bright Angel - Appx 10 miles

You’ll wake up early this morning and head straight out onto the Bright Angel trail at Grand
Canyon National Park. We’ll be rewarded with amazing views across the vast openness of this
canyon, truly understanding why it is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the
World. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch midday. After making the 10 mile descent crossing over the
Colorado River, you’ll settle into your tent in a backcountry camping site below the rim!


Day 3

Freedom in the desert!

Bright Angel to Cottonwood - Appx 7 miles

After your first night of sleeping in the canyon, you’ll have a leisurely morning before packing
up and making the climb to your next camping destination. Enjoy the various wild flowers as you
hike along a stream. We’ll take breaks as needed as we gain 2500 FT in elevation over seven
miles, before settling into camp and unwinding with some yoga.


Day 4

Cottonwood to North Rim - Appx 7 miles

Today we’ll pack-up camp and continue to head north! We’ll stop along the way taking in
iconic views with a plethora of history, learning about the native people as we make our way to
the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Upon reaching the rim we will meet a guide for our
transfer to the South Rim, where we’ll settle into a hotel and enjoy a celebratory dinner in town


Day 5

Farewell

Enjoy a breakfast of reminiscing before being transferred by your guide to Phoenix for your
departing flight.
