Miah Ulysse
Miah Ulysse (mee-yah you-liss-ee | she/her) is a fierce justice advocate, facilitator, and community connector with roots in Minnesota and Haiti. She is passionate about creating more just systems through political education, collective resistance, community healing, and radical rest.
Miah is the Principal + Founder of Rūted Solutions, a consulting firm based in Minneapolis, MN that offers facilitation, program development, and coalition building services to clients in the food and farming world. She is passionate about finding ways for Black folks to take up space in the outdoors and re-tether their hearts to the soil.
A seasoned self-taught chef, budding herbalist, and outdoors fanatic, Miah enjoys getting her hands dirty in the garden and unplugging by spending time with nature. In her spare time, Miah can be found conjuring up a sweet treat, zooming around the cities on her bike, and camping with her pups.

A: I've been loving reading the Lilith's Brood collection by Octavia Butler.
Q: What are your favorite self-care practices?
A: Going for a long bike ride through the city or camping solo always helps to clear my head.
Q: What's your favorite place to travel and why? I have a deep love for the water and mountains. If you put them together, I am in heaven.
I love spending time in nature nerding out about plants and wildlife so anywhere that has access to beautiful mountains, forests, or beaches is a winner for me!
