Depart: 9:00AM Denver, CO
Arrive: 12:05PM Cabo/Los Cabos, MX

Hotel Address:
Los Colibris
88 Calle Guaycura

Arrival in San Jose del Cabo and transfer to Todos Santos

On your flight to Mexico the airline will give you two forms: one for immigration and one for customs. You must fully complete each form. You will receive the bottom part of the immigration form in your passport. This is your tourist visa for the duration of your stay in Mexico, and you must present it when you exit the country. Make your way through customs and immigration, and continue to your rental car. Please check you rental car agreement to familiarize yourself with the location of the rental car company and available shuttles. Drive 90 minutes to the lovely Los Colibris Casitas, located on a hill overlooking the ocean in the artists colony and federally designated "magical town" of Todos Santos. Overnight at Los Colibris Casitas.

Los Colibris Casitas was made for nature lovers seeking beauty and tranquility. We offer the services and amenities of a boutique hotel, combined with the privacy and comfort of a vacation rental. Each of our casas and casitas has magnificent views of the Pacific ocean, a freshwater estuary and a palm grove oasis to the front, and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains to the side and back.

You will stay in a large room of Babisuri House. From your casa you can watch the fishermen cast their nets on the beach in the early morning light, wait for the green flash of a magnificent Baja sunset in the late afternoon, and enjoy the vast expanse of a star-filled sky at night. Los Colibris is just a 10-minute walk to 70 miles of pristine, virtually empty beach, and a 5-minute drive to the delightful restaurants, artists’ galleries and shops of Todos Santos.

Day 2-3

Explore the vibrant streets of Todos Santos.

Todos Santos Free Day

Free day - enjoy the beaches, hike, mountain bike, explore the town, hang out by the pool - you're on vacation!

Todos Santos ~ About 50 miles north of Cabo on the Pacific side of the Baja peninsula is a pueblo magico called Todos Santos – All Saints. And truly, the handiwork of all the saints seems to be reflected everywhere in our home town.  It’s easy to imagine that St. Anthony (San Antonio), the Patron Saint of the Desert, had his hand in the underground springs that make the town a true desert oasis, thick with palms, lush with lagoons and filled with the birds they attract.  St. Francis (San Francisco), Patron Saint of the Environment, seems like a sure bet for the town’s seemingly endless miles of pristine beach – home to 5 of the 7 turtle species found in the world, host to surf breaks that make the town one of the best surfing destinations on the Cape, and favored spot for gray whales on their annual trip to Baja to come close to shore and check out the humans.  St. Isidore (San Isidro), Patron Saint of Agriculture, almost certainly got in on the act with the vast orchards of mango trees and fields filled with strawberries, chilies and herbs, while St. Peter (San Pedro), Patron Saint of Fishermen, could easily be the wily soul who ensured no natural harbor in the town to keep the waters from being overfished and therefore full of bounty for the intrepid local fishermen, masters of the surf launch and landing

Day 4

Kayaking on the Sea of Cortez.

Transfers:
Todos Santos to La Paz (1.5 hours)
La Paz to Espiritu Santo by boat (45 min)

Sea of Cortez and Isla Espiritu Santo Glamping Adventure

In the morning, we'll transfer to La Paz where we will board our boat to luxury camping spot on the incomparable Isla Espiritu Santo. We'll settle into our tents then let the adventures unfold. Kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, birding - these are just a few of the activities that await as we explore the island and the surrounding Sea of Cortez. Lunch and dinner on the island. Overnight at camp.

Espiritu Santo National Park in the Sea of Cortez is part of a UNESCO World Heritage
Site, and is one of the best marine life viewing destinations in the world. Whales,
dolphins, whale sharks, sea turtles, manta rays and plenty of beautiful tropical fish
call the surrounding waters home, while a terrific range of bird species including
Blue-footed Boobies, Reddish Egrets, Great Blue Herons and Yellow-footed Gulls
frequent the island’s skies and shores. The island itself is stunning, with magnificent
towering cliffs, spectacular sandy bays, amazing lava rock formations, and rock art
left by the now-extinct Guaycura and Pericu Indians. There’s even an endemic ring-
tailed cat, the babisuri. It’s a remarkable place to explore.

Though this is a family friendly adventure, we recommend bringing life vests for the kids to ensure they are a good fit.

Day 5

Swimming with the sea lions off Los Islotes

Meals:
| B, L, D |

Espirito Santo - Swimming with Sea Lions

After breakfast, we will start our marine wildlife extravaganza kind of day in which we swim with the largest fish in the world - the whale shark, snorkel with one of the most playful marine mammals in the world - the sea lion, and have lunch on one of the most beautiful desert islands in the world - Isla Espirito Santo. We'll venture to the unbelievable joy of swimming and playing with the sea lion puppies at the permanent sea lion colony of Los Islotes. These fun-loving marine mammals love playing and interacting with humans, and are always disappointed that we can never keep up a game of tag as long as they can. Getting to the sea lion colony is half the fun of the day, as we regularly see dolphins, whales, mantas, sea turtles, coastal birds and more on the way there and back.We cap off this wonderful day with a delicious picnic lunch at one of the gorgeous beaches on the incomparable Isla Espirito Santo. It’s an absolutely fabulous day!

This option may not be ideal for young kids, but you can make that decision once you arrive - there are many alternative activities to choose from.
